Namaste FM is started about a year ago at community Radio Plains FM 96.9MHz, Christchurch. The Nepalese program aired every Monday at 8:00 pm for 25 minutes. The program aimed to introduce Nepalese music and its cultures through community FM, at which station 16 different languages program played in a week. Needless to say the FM is started with the proactive participation of current RJ Roshan Rijal, society praises his voluntary work. His professional works not only entertaining to its members, but also helping to introduce Nepalese cultures and music to different ethnic people residing in Christchurch.
